MEET HANS.

PRODUCER

Growing up in a small, blue-collar neighborhood near Lake Michigan, Hans was surrounded by the musical influences of older siblings and the eclectic mix of music broadcasting over Chicago and Gary radio. For Hans, this music was the soundtrack for a child’s imagination, from the word-smithing of the Beatles to the voices, rhythms and horns of Motown sound. His first Rock Album was KISS, “Dressed to Kill” of which his mom allowed him to purchase at the local Kmart in Gary.

Hans played drums in his first rock band in the eighth grade, Wet Paint. From then on, Hans started writing his own songs, learned to play guitar, keys, bass and mandolin. All these experimental forays into the music world prepared him well for his future life as a student at Purdue University. It was there that he found his footing in classic Rock, Punk, Alternative Rock and College Rock. Being a multi-instrumentalist was a major asset to the other musicians that he would meet. Hans played in several successful bands in the Lafayette area, most notably “No Apparent Reason’.

Hans' recording experience was birthed out of necessity by running live sound. College bands couldn’t afford sound engineers, and as a result he gained technical knowledge at the board, an ear for tone and knowledge for mic placement.

Hello!

HEAR OUR WORK

WORKING TOGETHER

SENIOR AUDIO ENGINEER

Brittany Rees brings a unique perspective to her studio clients and their music. A multi-instrumentalist, Brittany grew-up in a family of professional visual and voice artists.

Literally raised on radio, with her

father being in the business, she experienced exposure to multiple musical genres to include classical,

jazz, rock, acoustic, and alt-rock from childhood on. She also got to hang with her dad from a technical perspective, learning about electronics and sound transmission related to his other passion, HAM radio operations. This tech exposure would become an asset to Brittany for later life in her studio and live sound work, allowing her to trouble shoot, solder, patch and understanding signal flow.

Brittany’s first instrument was piano, but within a few years was quickly replaced by flute as her primary instrument, followed by a fascination with the bass guitar. Influenced by numerous musicians and bands, she gravitated towards the sounds of the Beatles, early U2, Indigo Girls, Talking Heads, and Pink Floyd. Her first band was in high school playing bass guitar and although they didn’t perform live, she experienced her first foray into recording in that band. This experience planted the seeds of studio excellence of which of which she demonstrates today.

MEET BRITTANY.
